The Rolex Sea Envoy, the brand's premier diver's watch, is water-resistant to a depth of 4,000 feet (1,220 meters), while the brand's Deep Diver is water-resistant to a depth of 12,800 feet (3,900 meters), far exceeding the water-resistance ratings of the majority of diver's watches on the market, demonstrating the fruits of decades of collaboration with professional divers. In addition to the water resistance that is the hallmark of this collection, the new timepiece pays tribute to James Cameron's historic solo dive record by introducing a D-Blue dial. The two-color dial fades from bright blue to deep black, representing the progression of diving from shallow to deep, making it a unique and immersive experience.
The new generation of Caliber 3235, developed and manufactured by Rolex, fully demonstrates the brand's innovative technology and superior watchmaking craftsmanship. It is equipped with Rolex's new patented CHRONERGY escapement. Made of nickel-phosphorus, it is not only highly efficient and reliable, but also impervious to magnetic fields, guaranteeing timekeeping precision. As one of the most important components of the watch, the balance-spring assembly is equipped with a Rolex blue PARACHROM hairspring made of a unique paramagnetic alloy forged by the brand, which is ten times more shock-resistant and superior to conventional hairsprings. The Rolex end ring ensures that the hairspring remains regular in any position. Overall, the new movement is a significant improvement in terms of precision and reliability, power reserve, shock resistance and anti-magnetic properties, as well as practicality, and is a benchmark for future quality movements.

The 9.9% new Deep Diver is made of 44 mm-diameter Oyster steel (a type of 904L steel). The lugs and the outside of the case have been redesigned to integrate with the wide Oyster bracelet and the corresponding Oyster safety folding clasp, revealing a unique and classic aesthetic while inheriting the exceptional water resistance. On the side of the case, a helium valve, exclusive to dive watches, reduces the effects of pressure during the dive.

The three water-resistant rings in the triple-lock winding crown, together with the water-resistant fittings on either side of the case, guarantee the watertightness of the interior of the watch and ensure perfect waterproofness of the case.
Equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black CERACHROM 60-minute scale, it allows divers to keep track of dive and decompression times underwater to ensure safe diving. The dial features the iconic Rolex diver's hour-markers and a central three-hand design, which is covered with an easy-to-read CHROMALIGHT long-lasting blue luminescent material, making it reliable and easy to read even in dark conditions or when diving deep underwater.
Like the Rolex Diver, the back cover is designed with a closed caseback, which, together with the case, guarantees the exceptional water resistance of the watch. The back cover is engraved with the name of the Rolex collection and the water-resistance to 3,900 meters, a unique and highly recognizable brand.
The Oyster safety clasp provides additional security by preventing the buckle from opening accidentally. The double extension system makes it easy to adjust the bracelet while wearing a heavy wetsuit.
